Brainware University Kolkata Overview

Brainware University admission 2023 has started for all the courses offered at the university. To get admission to various UG, PG, and Diploma courses, students must fill out the application form for the Brainware Eligibility Test (BET) 2023. The last date to fill out the BET application has not been declared official. Once released, it will be updated here. Brainware University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Bar Council of India(BCI), Indian Nursing Council (INC), and the Ministry of Education, GOI. Brainware University was established in the year 2016. The university is located in Barasat, Kolkata, West Bengal.It also received the Times Business Awards, West Bengal 2022. It is also recognised as the “best university for placements under UG & PG programmes”. As a part of the Brainware Group of Institutions, the university was established to be recognised as one of the best learning vessels. The Brainware University courses are offered across various fields, including commerce, engineering, science, pharmacy, and multimedia. Brainware University has 23 departments, offering 26 undergraduate, 16 postgraduate, six PhD, and nine Diploma courses. The Brainware University rank is 34th by EduRank among the other universities in West Bengal. Also, Brainware University has been ranked 339th by the NIRF ranking. Brainware University collaborated with several organisations to boost career opportunities for its students and faculty members. The Brainware University courses are offered in various streams like Science, Engineering, Management, Medical, Law, and more. Brainware University is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, Bar Council of India, Association of Indian Universities, and Indian Nursing Council, and that is why the courses offered by the university are all valid. Brainware University diploma courses are Diploma in Engineering, D.Pharm, DMLT, and GNM. LLM	Rs 1,89,800	Students must have scored 45% marks or equivalent grades in LLB. Moreover, only 42% marks are required for OBC & 40% for SC/ST.
MCA	Rs 2,49,800	Students must have scored 40% marks or equivalent grade in graduation with passing marks in Mathematics either in the class 12 examination or in graduation.
MA	Rs 79,800	Students must have scored 40% marks or equivalent grades in graduation.
M.Pharm	Rs 3,39,800	Students must have scored 55% marks in B.Pharm. For SC/ST candidates, it will be 50%.

PhD in Science (Computer Sciences)	Completion of a 1-year/2-semester program after a 4-year/8-semester master's degree programme or a 2-year/4-semester program after a 3-year bachelor's degree programme or equivalent qualifications recognised by the regulatory body. A minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from an accredited educational institution, with possible relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/OBC/Differently-Abled/EWS candidates. For candidates with a 4-year/8-semester bachelor's degree program, a minimum of 75% marks (or equivalent grade) is required, with the same relaxation of 5% marks for eligible categories.
